I just want to say a public thank you to the wonderful staff at a couple of Bennington Healthcare Institutions. My mother has recently had some health issues and was given wonderful care at SVMC, for which our family is very grateful. Their staff is professional, friendly and very caring. Thank you for your help! Mom then moved on to being cared for by the amazing team at CLR. Everyone there has been so kind and helpful in getting her back on her feet! One particular staff member at CLR REALLY impressed me. I would like to say a very special thank you to Albert, the supervising overnight nurse. Last Thursday, my mom needed to go to Dartmouth hospital for a procedure. My Daughter and I went to pick her up at 3am. I assisted mom (helping the staff get her ready for the trip) and out to the car. My daughter was getting everything set up comfortably for mom’s long ride. Things took a bit longer than expected, on my end and once we were ready to take off, the car would not start! My daughter and I were very worries that we wound not arrive on time for my mother to get her procedure. Albert, without really knowing either of us OFFERED US THE USE OF HIS. PERSONAL VEHICLE WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS! That was the most amazingly kind gesture and it meant so much to us. Fortunately, we had battery jumper cables and Albert generously let us use his car to recharge our battery. We made it to Dartmouth on time, thanks to Albert’s help and Moms procedure went well!! My family and i really want Albert to know how much we all truly appreciated him and his kindness. Offering a complete stranger your vehicle, with no regard for yourself is above and beyond in any job! We are so grateful to those that have made it possible for us to keep my mom safe. Thank you all. I hope that the staff of SVMC and CLR know how much good they really do for the community. I also hope that everyone with take the time thank those that are still working and giving it 100% every day. You are heroes!
